Fun with Chocolate!

Today Dean and I decided to make chocolate covered pretzels!
We started with semi-sweet chocolate chips, heated in the microwave, pretzel sticks, a cookie sheet, wax paper and away we went! (The newspaper was left over from a different project.)
We started with dunking...

We got tired of that REAL fast so we moved on to something much more satisfying...

October!

Dean will be 6 MONTHS OLD! on the 27th! I can't believe it. We are all doing great, he loves laughing at everyone as long as mom is holding him! Rolling over successfully and making a tripod with his legs and head. Solid food is interesting, he will eat almost anything. So far apricots are his least favorite! He just discovered the fur on the cats and the dogs have big tongues! He actually managed to get a full hand grip of Dante's tongue! I wish I had a camera. Can't wait for halloween!

Dean at 2 months old

Dean is 3 Months old now and doing great! He laughs all the time and talks like CRAZY! I hardly get anything done, unless he is asleep because we have so much fun together! He still is not too thrilled about being on the floor or his stomach for that matter so it may be some time before he rolls over. His favorite toy right now is an orange tiger, he grabs it by the ears and chews on his nose. (while sitting in his bouncer) He is a total mommies boy and that is OK with me! :)

May was fun, figuring out how our new family was going to be run. It's so much fun!

4 weeks old

Hi everyone! Dean is now 4 weeks old and doing great! He is starting to become more interested in the world around him as well as staring wide eyed at whoever is holding him. Sleep is still whenever he wants and not for any particular amount of time. We are adjusting well to the new lifestyle and are loving it. It's funny because in a lot of ways we feel like nothing has changed, almost as though he has always been here.

Hi everyone! Dean is here and he is GREAT!! He is 8.3lbs, 20.25 inches long, his head is 14.5 inches around, and his feet are 3.5 inches long!! (he got Jer's feet) He is eating and sleeping well and only cries when he needs something, so we are happy. Mom is doing better but still recouping after the 37 hour labor. More updates to come!
